Call out to fellow bird artists! Your art can be used to help create awareness about endangered birds and to raise funding for conservation projects!
They raise the funding by selling your artwork (both digital and traditional), and your work will be promoted on their website. This is ideal if you want to create more exposure and range for possible future commissions. I'm thinking about contributing art =)
You can find more information on their website:

If you're not a bird artist, but are still interested, you can also help by buying bird art (and so help raise funding), or by sharing this websit

I've just recently became a co-founder of the group Endangered-Birds (https://www.deviantart.com/endangered-birds) (I've made that icon as well) and I'll be helping Cuthillius (https://www.deviantart.com/cuthillius) and MagicBirdie (https://www.deviantart.com/magicbirdie) to bring some life to the group.
The group needs new watchers, members, contributors and of course new submissions into the gallery. If you have submitted photographs or art of endangered birds that you like to share, please submit! Do you watch artists that often draw or photograph birds? Please tell me. Do you know any endangered bird species that are often overlooked? Share some nice art of that species!
Any help is welcome!

I was surprised to find out that the REdwing (Turdus iliacus) has been assessed by the IUCN as NT, when Wikipedia lists is as LC www.iucnredlist.org/species/22…
I usually check both just in case, but an example of the discrepancies between the two.
It's better to rely on the IUCN website, seeing that that is the primary source that Wikipedia also uses. (Wikipedia may be giving outdated info? Seeing that the status of the redwing changed 3 years ago, which is relatively recent)
